Internship Programme 2020 – A Coordinator’s Perspective

“The OGI conference is something I look forward to every November”

It’s usually a fairly quiet time workwise, and having that day away feels like a well-earned treat. It’s a lovely chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones – because we’re spread all over the country, getting the organic community together doesn’t happen nearly often enough.

The speakers and their presentations are the cornerstone of the event though and the conference always manages to attract the very best. It is, after all, the only dedicated organic horticultural event in Ireland, and the importance of that can’t be overstated.

I always come away inspired, with a notebook full of ideas and a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead.
