Our first farm walk of the season, will be a unique opportunity for commercial growers at all stages of their growing career to come together, share Lean insights and learn from one another in a working farm environment.

Burnout is a common challenge for small scale growers, so the aim of this day is to give a fresh and practical perspective on running a farm. The Farm Walk and Lean demo will be a wonderful opportunity to see how lean principles are being applied across all areas of Glasraí Farm—from workflow and labour to harvest and packing systems, sales models, equipment and infrastructure.

Through a guided farm walk and open discussion, Joe and Aoife will share the systems and strategies that help them work smarter, not harder.

DAY OUTLINE
10am: Morning Session
12.30 – 2pm: Lunch
2pm – 4.30pm: Afternoon Session
Tea and coffee will be provided and would be great if everyone could bring their own lunch and/or something to share.
