John Mc Cormick has been running his organic market garden and veg box scheme at Helen’s Bay Organic, for over 30 years. He’ll be sharing what he’s learned along the way from working with horticultural machinery to running a successful box scheme that feeds hundreds of households.

This is a great opportunity for OGI Network members and OGI interns to see a well established organic farm in action and hear directly from one of the most experienced growers in Ireland.

The day will include:
A guided walk around the farm and gardens
A look at the machinery John uses and how it helps with efficiency and scale
Insights into running a market garden and delivering a veg box scheme
Time for questions and chat with John and fellow growers
