OGI REPRESENTING ORGANIC GROWERS

Festival of Gardens & Nature 2026

Bealtaine marked the start of summer, and Organic Growers Ireland were delighted to be represented at the Festival of Gardens and Nature in the beautiful organic-certified gardens of Ballintubbert Gardens & House over the weekend.

What a thoughtful, well-curated festival, bringing together conversations on gardens, food systems, climate, compost, nature and how we rethink our relationship with the living world, with inspiring speakers from home and abroad.

A real highlight was reconnecting with Kevin Bohan, a grower met through several of our OGI farm walks, who was there selling a fantastic range of organic vegetable transplants — all beautifully grown and presented. His presence at the festival came directly from a conversation at our annual conference, a great example of how connections turn into real opportunities.

Moments like this show the strength of networks in supporting growers, sharing knowledge, and helping ideas move from conversation into practice.

Here’s to a summer of learning, growing and connecting with more OGI growers and members outdoors!
