OGI REPRESENTING ORGANIC GROWERS
Oxford Real Farming Conference 2026
The Oxford Real Farming Conference was established in 2012 as an alternative farming conference, bringing together farmers, growers, activists, policymakers and researchers from around the world, who are interested in transforming our food system. OGI General Manager Kitty Scully, and Board member Erin O’ Brien, joined 1,800 delegates in Oxford City Centre for ORFC 2026.
Fresh back from the Oxford Real Farming Conference, it was energising to connect with growers and agroecological organisations pushing for change across the UK and beyond.
Across every session, similar challenges surfaced — fragile supply chains, barriers to land access and policies that fail to reflect the realities of farming on the ground. One message rang loud and clear: small farms matter, there is strength in diversity and a unified organic voice is essential to effect change. With nearly every session filled to capacity, the momentum at the conference showed a growing appetite to challenge the status quo.
A powerful reminder that it’s time to move beyond discussion, strengthen our voices and push for change.
